DO I NEED TO PURCHASE EXTRA INSURANCE?

Proof of personal comprehensive and collision insurance is required from rental vehicle drivers. Your personal insurance is the best protection for you and your rental vehicle. You are responsible for the vehicle and all equipment while it is in your possession as agreed to in the Rental Agreement.

WHAT IS MOTOURLY’S CANCELLATION POLICY? ** Different during Pilot time period

If you cancel prior to 30-days in advance of your trip, then you will receive a full refund, less credit card transaction fees. Between 30-days and 15-days prior to scheduled pick-up date, you will receive half of your deposit back, less credit card transaction fees. You will not get any refund on your deposit if your reservation is cancelled within 2-week of your pick-up date. Motourly will not refund fees due to bad weather. We may recommend some alternative activities if inclement weather is anticipated.

You must have a valid US driver’s license, a valid major credit card and proof of insurance.

HOW DOES BILLING WORK? ** Different during Pilot time period

A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. The balance is due upon vehicle pick-up or delivery. If you do not have a valid major credit card, then we cannot rent you a vehicle or sell you a trip or event package. A $1,000 pre-authorized security deposit will be applied to your credit card a security deposit. This is not a charge on your card but simply an authorized $1,000 “hold” until the vehicle is returned in good condition.
